In recent decades, technology has become more deeply rooted in our lives. Artists have in turn begun implementing a variety of changing technologies within increasingly immersive works. As many artists embrace these new tools to explore audience experience, we ask what challenges this places on the galleries hosting these non-traditional exhibitions. How do the exhibition coordinators go about adapting a traditional space to suit the needs of these new works?
In an effort to explore how these new problems are being resolved between the artists vision and the limitations of a space, we’re presenting a panel discussion entitled "Exhibiting Technology: Adapting Analog Space for Digital Art".
